Raised in Las Vegas Steven considers himself a true local. After graduating from Cimarron Memorial High School, Steven went to work in southern Utah as a wild land firefighter. Three years later, hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf of Mexico, severely damaging oil platforms. Searching for a new adventure, Steven moved to Houston TX, attended The Ocean Corporation, and graduated as an entry level commercial diver so that he could assist in the rehab and recovery of the damage caused by terrible incident.
After working in the diving industry for two years Steven became a father. Soon after his son was born he found he had the urge to find more stable work in the medical field. Having seen many on the job aches and injuries in his lines of work, physical therapy seemed like an appropriate interest, and exciting career for the future. He pursued this interest and graduated as a PTA in 2013 from Carrington College in Las Vegas. After graduation, Steven worked in a balance clinic in Las Vegas. He found his new passion in helping patients understand and improve their lives through education and exercise. After seeing positive effects in balance patients using therapeutic strengthening and stretching exercises, Steven’s interest in these techniques grew.
